Job summary

Fairfax Behavioral Health, a UHS facility in Kirkland, WA, is seeking Master’s Level Intake Clinicians for its Assessment team. The role handles hospital admission referrals across three local campuses and supports 24/7 telephonic inquiries for mental health and substance use services.

The Intake Clinician/RN works under the Lead Clinician and Director of Assessment & Referral, coordinating with hospitals and providers, with a schedule for night shifts on weekends.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work or a mental health field, or WA RN license.
• At least 1 year of experience in social work or a mental health setting; WA familiarity preferred.
• Active WA State license (LICSW/LMHC/LMFT or RN) and CPR/First Aid/Handle with Care upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Handle hospital admission referrals (DCR and provider referrals) for all three local campuses.
• Utilize telephonic assessment skills to manage inquiries from community members statewide for mental health and substance use services.
• Work under the direction of the Lead Clinician and Director of Assessment & Referral in a fast-paced intake environment.
