Job summary

Metropolitan Behavioral Health is seeking an Intake Clinician for full-time night shifts. You will obtain initial clinical information by phone and coordinate with on-call physicians to determine admission level of care.

Qualifications

• MSW with Michigan LMSW (fully licensed) or Associates in Nursing or BSN with Michigan RN license.
• 1–3 years of experience providing mental health services, preferably in psychiatric settings.

Responsibilities

• Obtain initial clinical phone information and communicate with the physician on call to determine admission level of care.
• Schedule clinical evaluations when appropriate and facilitate the admission process for inpatients, day treatment or outpatient care.
• Provide information to clients, families and referral sources regarding treatment programs, insurance and admission procedures.
