Job summary

Highlands Behavioral Health System is seeking an Intake Clinician to respond to requests for assistance by phone or in person, conducting psychiatric assessments and crisis intervention. You will coordinate referrals to hospital staff and external sources based on needs and resources.

Admissions are facilitated through collaboration with the Business Office, Utilization Review and Nursing Services. This PRN role requires availability for at least one overnight shift per month, with shifts not

Qualifications

• Master's degree required in Psychology, Social Work or Counseling.
• Licensed Clinician in CO preferred; if not, candidate must be able to obtain licensure (LPC or LCSW).
• Experience with psychiatric patients of all ages preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond to requests for assistance by telephone or in person and provide psychiatric assessment, crisis intervention and referrals.
• Admissions to the Hospital are facilitated through coordinated efforts with the Business Office, Utilization Review and Nursing Services.
• Shift Hours: PRN; must be able to work 1 overnight shift per month; PRN employees are not guaranteed shifts/hours

Education
