Position Overview

A Guest Services Agent is responsible for greeting and registering guests, assisting with check-in and check-out processes, and ensuring an outstanding guest experience while maintaining hotel profitability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet guests, complete registration, input and retrieve information, confirm details, assign rooms, code electronic keys, promote hotel services, and provide guest information.
  • Assist with check-out procedures, handle payments, process credit/debit cards, convert foreign currency, and manage gift certificates.
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of hotel offerings, local area, and answer guest inquiries.
  • Use up-selling techniques to promote hotel amenities and maximize occupancy.
  • Respond promptly to guest requests, resolve issues, and handle complaints effectively.
  • Manage messages and relay information to guests.
