Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• One year of healthcare or childcare experience is a plus.
• Basic computer skills are required.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Must attend all provided training.
• Willingness to learn and operate screening equipment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct newborn hearing screenings in well baby and NICU units prior to discharge.
• Communicate relevance of screening to parents and nursing staff.
• Analyze responses and report results according to procedures.
• Maintain screening equipment and assist with data entry and records.
• Collaborate with hospital departments and adhere to policies.
