Job summary

Hearing Screening Associates LLC seeks a Mobile Newborn Hearing Screening Technician for a part-time role in busy NICU environments in New Braunfels and San Marcos, TX.

You will conduct newborn hearing screenings prior to discharge, coordinate follow-up care, and work closely with nursing staff and families to explain the importance of early intervention. Training is provided, with weekend differential included.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year healthcare or childcare experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Willingness to learn and operate hearing screening equipment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct newborn hearing screenings in nursery and NICU prior to discharge.
• Coordinate post-discharge follow up care as needed.
• Communicate relevance of hearing screening and early intervention to families.
• Maintain and use hearing screening equipment and assist with database management.
• Travel between hospitals as required and coordinate with nursing staff.
