Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking a Newborn Hearing Screen Technician to perform hearing screens for newborns at hospital locations. You will explain the importance of screening to parents and ensure accurate data is collected during each shift.

Shifts begin at 8:30AM and run 4–5 hours, with Weekends and holidays required. On-the-job training and certification through the American Academy of Audiology are provided to ensure high-quality early detection of hearing impairments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current CPR Certification or must obtain upon offer.
• Flexibility to work on weekends and national holidays.

Responsabilités

• Perform hearing screens for newborns during each shift.
• Educate parents on the relevance of screening and early intervention.
• Maintain accurate data collection and documentation for each baby.
• Upload results and reporting by end of shift and reconcile statistics.
• Comply with PPE, vaccinations and safety/compliance modules.
• Schedule outpatient appointments for refer babies where appropriate.
