Job summary

Hearing Screening Associates is seeking a part-time Newborn Hearing Screening Technician in Texas to perform newborn hearing screens in NICU and well-baby units. You will educate parents about screening relevance and record results, supporting patient care goals.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED and healthcare/ childcare exposure; basic computer skills and willingness to learn are expected. Training is provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• One year or more healthcare or childcare training/experience is a plus.
• Possess basic computer skills.
• Ability to function independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to learn and operate hearing screening equipment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct newborn hearing screenings in well baby and NICU units prior to discharge.
• Communicate relevance of screening to parents and nursing staff.
• Analyze and communicate responses to situations per company and customer needs.
• Maintain and use hearing screening equipment; assist with database management.
