Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Sr. Network Engineer to provide network engineering support, security, administration, and management to PMRF mission networks on Kauai, HI. Responsibilities include configuring routers, switches, firewalls, and monitoring network devices in accordance with DoW/DoN/PMRF policies.

The role requires experience with cyber security tasks, STIG compliance, and DoD policy adherence, with potential CTM duties and mentoring responsibilities for the team.

Qualifications

• Two years of network management/engineering experience.
• Advanced certifications may substitute for degree or experience.
• Knowledge of IT networks and advanced networking concepts.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, and configure network hardware and software for classified and unclassified networks.
• Develop engineering, security implementation, and integration plans for new network systems.
• Provide mentorship and training for junior network engineers.
• Possible Contract Task Manager duties for TI work.
• Track status reporting on day-to-day and project activities.
