Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Sr. Network Engineer for Kauai, HI to provide network engineering support, security, administration, and management to PMRF mission networks. Configures routers, switches, firewalls, and other devices in accordance with DoW/DoN/PMRF policy.

Role emphasizes Cyber Security expertise, STIG compliance, and troubleshooting in stand-down and live mission environments, with mentorship for junior staff and coordination with the customer on system status.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of network management/engineering experience.
• Knowledge of IT networks and advanced IT networking concepts.
• Ability to work with DoD/PMRF policy and procedures.
• Good written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, and configure network hardware and software for classified and unclassified networks.
• Develop engineering, security implementation, and integration plans for new systems.
• Provide mentorship and escalation support for junior team members.
• May perform Contract Task Manager duties for TI work.
• Track status reporting on day-to-day and project activities.
• Perform Cyber Security tasks using STIGS, SCAP, SRR scripts, and ACAS/Nessus.
• Maintain 100% network device compliance with DoD directives and assist POA&M.
• Configure and maintain network management platforms and review audits/logs.
