Job summary

The City of Yuma is seeking a Part-time General Maintenance Worker for the Utilities Department - Wastewater Division. This role supports manual labor, maintenance, cleaning, and repair tasks across municipal facilities and grounds to keep city operations functioning smoothly.

Under supervision, you will perform a variety of tasks, follow safety regulations, operate basic tools, and assist with maintenance activities and data/input as required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Some experience in general maintenance preferred.
• Ability to follow safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist with cleaning, maintenance and repair of municipal facilities, grounds, streets and parks.
• Operate basic tools in a safe and effective manner.
• Assist with routine maintenance and general labor tasks as assigned.
• Follow all safety rules and report hazards or problems.
