Job summary

Vancouver Clinic is seeking a Mohs Histology Tech for a part-time role (28 hours/week) based in Vancouver, WA. The position involves orienting, embedding, cutting, and staining frozen tissue specimens with a schedule of four days per week, 8:00 am–3:30 pm, including a 30-minute lunch.

Qualifications

• Minimum of six months of recent Histology Tech experience with frozen section work.
• 1 year of Mohs or Dermatology experience is strongly preferred.
• HT/HTL certification or HT/ASCP preference noted.

Responsibilities

• Orient, embed, cut, and stain frozen tissue specimens.
• Freeze tissue samples, cut frozen sections, and mount slides.
• Prepare reagents and solutions used in procedures.
• Maintain quality control logs for slide review.
