Job summary

Vancouver Clinic in Vancouver, WA, seeks a Mohs Surgical Assistant (MA-C) to join the Dermatology team. This part-time role (28 hours/week) 8am-3:30pm Mon Tue Thu Fri, with Wednesday off after training, involves assisting Mohs procedures and wound closures, sterilizing instruments, and supporting patient flow.

Requirements include an active Washington State Medical Assistant-Certified credential, current AHA BLS CPR, and two years of experience in outpatient surgery or Mohs dermatology settings.

Qualifications

• Active Washington State Medical Assistant-Certified credential.
• Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider BLS CPR certification.
• Two years of experience in outpatient surgery center, Mohs dermatology practice, or office-based surgery department preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean, sterilize, and ensure instruments and supplies are available as needed.
• Provide hands-on assisting with Mohs procedures and wound closures/repairs.
• Assist with lab/pathology processing of Mohs specimens.
• Support dermatology providers with day-to-day patient flow.
