Job summary

Vancouver Clinic in Vancouver, WA, is seeking a Mohs Surgical Assistant (MA-C) to support Mohs procedures and wound care. The role involves instrument sterilization, specimen handling, and active patient flow support in a busy dermatology setting.

Requires WA Medical Assistant-Certified and BLS CPR, with dermatology or outpatient surgery experience preferred. Part-time, 28 hours/week, 8am-3:30pm, Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri; training period on schedule.

Qualifications

• Active Washington State Medical Assistant-Certified credential.
• Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider BLS CPR certification.
• Working knowledge of aseptic techniques and sterilization practices.
• Two years of experience in outpatient surgery centers, Mohs dermatology, or office-based surgery preferred.
• Dermatology experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure instruments and supplies are cleaned, sterilized and available as needed.
• Provide hands-on assisting with Mohs procedures and wound closures/repairs.
• Assist with lab/pathology processing of Mohs specimens.
• Assist dermatology providers with day-to-day patient flow.
