Job summary

Qualifications

We require our employees to adhere to our attendance standards, as frequent deviations make it difficult to provide care for our patients and support our coworkers.****In this role** you will perform orienting, embedding, cutting, and staining of frozen tissue specimens. You will freeze tissue samples, cut frozen sections and mount samples on slides, prepare correct reagents and solutions utilized in procedure, and maintain quality control logs for slide review. *To be successful in this role you need clinical experience, a passion for team building and integration, and the ability to maintain a positive attitude while working in a fast-paced environment.***Requirements*** Minimum of six months of recent experience as a Histology Tech with previous frozen section experience **required**.* Minimum of 1 year of experience in Mohs or Dermatology is **strongly preferred.*** Graduate of an accredited Histotechnician (HT) or Histotechnologist (HTL) program preferred.* HT (ASCP) or HLT (ASCP) certification preferred.* Previous experience with computer software is helpful.**Additional Information**: Vancouver Clinic provides care across a wide range of medical decisions.
