Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. seeks a Store Merchandise Manager for Westminster, MD to drive merchandising and operational execution, including pricing, promotions, truck processing, and in-store presentation.

You will lead workload planning, Planogram (POG) compliance, inventory accuracy, and a clean, customer-ready store environment, while coaching teammates and aligning with store leadership.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and ensure SOP adherence and company programs.
• Ensure policy execution and store conditions.
• Provide Manager-on-Duty coverage.
• Oversee truck execution and merchandise flow.
• Plan workload and daily task prioritization with store leadership.
• Maintain in-stock and replenishment accuracy (SISO).
• Execute planogram (POG) execution on schedule.
• Maintain visual merchandising standards.
• Support a clean, organized store and backroom.
• Manage inventory control and shrink reduction.
• Execute ad sets and pricing changes on time.
• Oversee Ship from Store and RTV/ASN processes.
• Manage damages procedures.
• Train, coach and develop team members.
• Support Asset Protection practices.
• Other duties as assigned.
