Job summary

Michaels, located in MD, seeks a Merchandise Manager to drive merchandising and operational execution, including truck processing, inventory routines, planogram sets, pricing accuracy, and timely promotional execution to keep the store customer-ready.

You will lead workload planning, partner with store leadership to align staffing and execution to business needs, and oversee in-stock levels, replenishment, and asset protection while coaching team members for exceptional service.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in SOPs and Company programs adherence.
• Lead truck execution with accurate sorting and efficient floor flow.
• Own workload planning and daily task prioritization with store leadership.
• Oversee Planogram (POG) execution and visual merchandising standards.
• Manage pricing, promotions, and signage to ensure accuracy and customer focus.
• Oversee Ship from Store fulfillment, RTVs and ASN receiving processes.
• Coach, train, and develop team members through structured onboarding and ongoing skill-building.
