Michaels is seeking a Merchandise Manager for our Lafayette, IN store to drive merchandising and operational execution, including truck processing, inventory routines, planogram sets, and visual standards. The role ensures accurate pricing, timely promotions, and a customer-ready store through strong workload planning and inventory management.

Responsibilities include leading SOPs, ensuring policy compliance, providing MOD coverage, and managing stock, signage, and Ship from Store fulfillment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.
• Ability to work nights, weekends and early mornings.

Responsabilités

• Assist Store Manager in leading SOPs and company programs to ensure compliance with laws and requirements.
• Ensure execution of company policies and standards, maintaining store conditions and results.
• Provide Manager-on-Duty coverage, maintaining floor leadership and service standards.
• Lead truck execution processes, ensuring timely unloading and merchandise flow to the sales floor.
• Own workload planning and daily task prioritization with store leadership.
• Execute Store-In-Stock Optimization routines to drive in-stock levels and replenishment accuracy.
• Oversee Planogram execution to ensure merchandising sets are accurate and on schedule.
• Establish and maintain visual merchandising standards and initial product presentation.
• Support a clean, organized, customer-ready store environment including backroom and sales floor recovery.
• Manage inventory control, product accuracy and stock movement.
• Execute ad sets with compliant signage and product placement.
• Complete price changes accurately and on time across sales floor and systems.
• Oversee Ship from Store fulfillment, ensuring orders are picked, packed and shipped efficiently.
• Process RTVs and ASN receiving with documentation accuracy.
• Manage store damages procedures and shrink reduction.
• Train, coach, and develop team members through onboarding and ongoing skill-building.
• Partner to maintain Asset Protection practices to reduce shrink.
