Job summary

American Greetings is seeking a part-time Support Merchandiser to service multiple retail locations, including State College, PA. You will display and maintain inventory of greeting cards, gift wrap, and more, with a focus on organization and time management.

The role offers paid training and a company 401(k) match. Starting at $12.60 per hour with increases after 6 months and after 1 year; hours are around 3 per week, increasing to about 13 during holidays.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English.
• Able to lift up to 40 pounds with or without accommodation.
• Access to reliable transportation for multi-location routes.
• Access to reliable internet for job information and updates.
• Willing to learn and use company-provided tablet for training and daily tasks.
• May require weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Service stores on assigned route, merchandising and organizing product orders.
• Display products in greeting card departments and maintain backroom areas.
• Communicate scheduling or service questions to management.
• Work in a fast-paced retail environment with strong time management.
• Build relationships with store staff during daytime hours.
• Be available for extra days and extended hours around major holidays.
• Assist with store resets, fixture work, or product assembly as needed.
• Plan weekly service schedule using a company-issued tablet.
