Job summary

American Greetings is seeking a part-time Support Merchandiser to service and merchandise greeting card departments across assigned retail locations. The role emphasizes independent work, strong organization, and timely product displays along with routine backroom maintenance.

Pay starts at $11.70/hour with staged increases to $12.40 after 6 months and $13.00 after one year. Flexible scheduling and paid training are provided, plus a 401(k) with company match.

Qualifications

• Able to work independently across multiple retail locations
• Strong time-management and organizational skills
• Experience in merchandising or retail is a plus

Responsibilities

• Service assigned stores on route, merchandising and organizing product orders
• Display product in greeting card departments and maintain backroom organization
• Communicate with management about schedules or issues
• Work in a fast-paced retail environment with effective time management
• Build relationships with store staff and management during daytime hours
• Be available for additional days and extended hours around major holidays
• Assist with store resets, fixture work, or product relocation as needed
• Plan weekly service schedule and workload in assigned stores
• Operate with and without team support
