Job summary

American Greetings Corporation is seeking a Merchandiser to service multiple retail locations in Texas, displaying and maintaining inventory of greeting cards, gift wrap, and related items. The role requires independent work across a defined route with daytime hours and some holiday scheduling.

Training is provided and a 401(k) with company match is offered. Starting pay is $12.60 per hour with increases after 6 months to $13.30 and after one year to $14.00.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail merchandising or related field preferred.
• Willingness to work daytime shifts, including mornings.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Service stores on assigned route and merchandise greeting card departments.
• Display and organize products, maintain backroom areas, and handle inventory tasks.
• Communicate scheduling or service questions with management.
• Build relationships with store staff during daytime hours.
• Support additional days or extended hours around major holidays.
• Assist with store resets including minor fixture work and product assembly.
• Plan weekly service schedule using a company tablet.
