Job summary

American Greetings is seeking a Support Merchandiser to service Lancaster, CA retail locations. You will display and maintain inventory of greeting cards, gift wrap accessories, and party goods, while coordinating with store staff to ensure organized backrooms and timely restocking.

No prior experience required; paid training is provided. Starting pay is $17.10/hour with planned raises after 6 months and after 1 year. A flexible schedule and 401(k) with company match are offered.

Qualifications

• English proficiency required (speaking, reading, writing).
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds with or without accommodation.
• Reliable transportation for multiple locations.
• Access to reliable internet for updates.
• Comfort learning and using a company tablet.

Responsibilities

• Service assigned retail routes and merchandize products.
• Display products in greeting card departments and backrooms.
• Maintain organized backrooms and inventory tasks.
• Communicate with store management about schedules and questions.
• Work in a fast-paced environment with strong time management.
• Build relationships with store staff during daytime hours.
• Occasionally assist with store resets and fixture work.
• Plan weekly routes and workload using a company tablet.
