Job summary

Springfield Funeral & Cremation in Springfield, TN is seeking an Ambassador to support funeral and memorial services. The part-time role assists Funeral Directors and location staff to ensure services run smoothly, while exceeding family expectations.

The ambassador will greet families, manage guest flow, handle documents and materials, and help with logistics such as flowers, refreshments, and transportation. A valid driver’s license is required and English fluency is essential.

Qualifications

• Fluent reading, writing and speaking English. Bilingual is a plus.
• Ability to empathize and communicate with families in emotionally charged situations.
• Willingness to participate in growing market share through community involvement.
• Ability to multitask and work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Greet and direct client families and guests to the correct chapel.
• Direct visitors to guest book and distribute memorialization materials.
• Assist with questions and needs of families during visitation and memorialization events.
• Receive and place flowers in chapels and ensure refreshments are available.
• Maintain clean public spaces and support setup before/after services.
• Oversee parking, valet vehicles, and arrange ceremonial transportation.
• Represent the business professionally in the community.
