Job summary

Shackelford Funeral Directors in Henderson, TN seeks an Ambassador to support funeral services and assist Funeral Directors and location staff to ensure services run smoothly and exceed client families’ expectations.

You will greet and direct families, manage guest books and memorial materials, coordinate transportation and logistics, and maintain clean, welcoming spaces. This part-time, on-site role offers community involvement and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
• At least 1-year experience in funeral arranging preferred.
• Able to read, write and speak English fluently; bilingual a plus.
• Ability to communicate effectively with client families and guests.

Responsibilities

• Greets and directs client families to the correct chapel.
• Directs visitors to guest book and distributes memorialization materials as needed.
• Answers questions and assists with serving the needs of the client families and guests.
• Maintains clean and prepared public spaces such as lobby, chapels and restrooms.
• Oversees parking and coordinates ceremonial vehicle arrangements.
