Job summary

Redwood Credit Union is seeking a Part Time Member Service Associate to handle routine teller work and deliver outstanding member service. This role will contribute to branch success by selling and referring Credit Union products while acting as the face of the organization in the community.

The position requires 24 to 25 hours per week, with a base pay range of $23.00 to $29.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with six months retail sales and cash handling experience.
• Ability to count and balance cash.
• Ability to cross-sell products using a needs-based approach.
• Rotating schedule including Saturdays.
• Ability to learn new products, services, procedures, technology and concepts.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional member service to Members, volunteers, internal employees, and service providers.
• Explain products and services to meet members' needs; cross-sell RCU products.
• Establish basic products and services for Members.
• Provide information to Members’ questions or directs them to the appropriate person.
• Safeguard Member information and maintain confidentiality.
• Complete Members’ transactions accurately and balance cash and documentation.
• Attend departmental meetings and participate in branch opening/closing duties.
• Perform other duties as assigned and process forms and supplies.
• Participate in Credit Union committees.
