Job summary

Redwood Credit Union is seeking a Full Time Member Service Associate to perform routine teller duties, provide exceptional member service, and contribute to branch success by selling and referring Credit Union products.

You will balance cash, process transactions, answer questions, cross-sell RCU Investment, Insurance, and Auto services, work a rotating schedule including Saturdays, and collaborate with teammates to ensure a positive Member experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least six months experience in retail sales and cash handling
• Ability to balance cash and process transactions accurately
• Needs-based sales approach to cross-sell products
• Willingness to work a rotating Saturday schedule

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional member service to Members, volunteers, and service providers.
• Explain products and services to Members to meet their needs; cross-sell RCU Investment, Insurance, Auto services.
• Balance cash, process transactions, and maintain proper documentation.
• Attend departmental meetings and assist with branch opening/closing duties; complete orders for forms and supplies; participate in committees.
