Living Branches is seeking a compassionate Medication Technician for a part-time role in Souderton, PA. You will administer prescribed medications and document each administration in the resident's MAR and records, collaborating with the nursing team to ensure accuracy and timeliness.

The position requires DPW Med Tech Certification and a high school diploma or GED. CNA certification is preferred, with experience in geriatric or dementia care considered a plus.

Qualifications

• Must possess a high school diploma or GED.
• DPW Med Tech Certification is required.
• CNA Certification is preferred.
• Experience with geriatric or dementia residents a plus.
• Knowledge of HIPAA and long-term care regulations.

Responsabilités

• Assist residents with medications under nurse supervision and maintain the medication cart.
• Complete documentation in the MAR and Resident Roster, noting doses, missed doses, refusals, or errors.
• Ensure correct medication administration timing, route, and special instructions (crushed, with food, etc.).
• Follow regulatory guidelines for the department.
