Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Caregiver.
• 1-2 years of Med Tech experience.
• CPR certification required or able to obtain.
• Speak, read, and understand English.
• Committed to health & safety.
• Able to do housework and cooking.
• Well-organized and reliable.
• Excellent communication and people skills.
• A positive and compassionate attitude.
• Physical stamina.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsabilités

• Pass medications to Assisted Living and Memory Care residents according to physician orders, prescribed schedules, and facility procedures
• Provide assistance with activities of daily living, including grooming, oral hygiene, bath/shower, hair cleaning and brushing, and transferring to and from activities and meals, as needed
• Ensure residents receive their medication on time
• Lift and/or transfer residents as needed
• Assist in meal preparation/presentation, serving to resident, and other dining related responsibilities; report changes in eating habits
• Record and report changes in resident condition to the supervisor including changes in daily living activities and skin changes
• Daily follow up on bath schedules and vital signs (blood pressure, weight, respiration, etc)
• Immediately report all incidents or accident involving residents to the Supervisor
• Follow proper procedures in emergency situations and respond promptly to resident requests for assistance
