Job summary

Rappahannock Community College (RCC) invites applications for an Adjunct Instructor for the Medication Aid Program at Glenns, Warsaw or Kilmarnock Satellite Campus. You will deliver classroom instruction and hands-on labs to prepare students for Virginia RMA licensure, focusing on pharmacology, dosage calculations, medical terminology, and proper EHR/MAR documentation.

The role requires active Virginia (or multistate) LPN or RN license, at least 3 years of clinical experience, and CPR/BLS

Qualifications

• Licensure to practice as LPN or RN in Virginia (or multistate Compact).
• Minimum 3 years clinical practice with ability to administer medications.
• Active BLS/CPR certification and willingness to teach across campus sites.

Responsibilities

• Deliver classroom instruction and skills labs for Medication Aide program.
• Cover pharmacology, dosage calculations, medical terminology, drug classifications, and side effects.
• Demonstrate and evaluate clinical skills per Virginia Board of Nursing regulations.
