Job summary

Westminster-Canterbury on Chesapeake Bay is seeking a qualified Registered Medication Aide (RMA) to join our compassionate care team in Virginia Beach. You will manage and coordinate medication administration, prepare and dispense medications, and document in residents' records.

This full-time role requires an active VA RMA and VA CNA licenses, CPR/First Aid certification (or obtain within 60 days), and being Flu-vaccinated.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Medication Aide (RMA) license in the State of VA.
• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in VA.
• CPR and First Aid certification (or must obtain within the first 60 days of employment).
• Flu vaccination as a requirement or condition of employment.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate medication administration schedules.
• Prepare and dispense medications in accordance with regulatory guidelines.
• Document pertinent information in the resident's record.
• Complete incident reports as needed.
• Prioritize tasks to ensure timely and safe resident care.
• May serve as a team leader at times.
• All other duties as assigned.
