Job summary
Bay Aging is seeking a part-time Medication Aide for the Gloucester Adult Day Center in Gloucester, VA. You will assist with ADLs, administer medications if trained, and support daily activities to keep participants engaged and safe.
Qualified candidates hold a CNA or Nursing Assistant training, a Medication Administration Certificate, and at least 1 year of elder-care experience. Must provide vaccination proof and be able to work a varied schedule.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- License as a Certified Nurse Aide or certificate of training for Nursing Assistant
- Medication Administration Certificate required.
- At least 1 year of experience in elder care or caregiving.
Responsibilities
- Lead scheduled activities for 3 hours daily.
- Assist with Adult Day Break Center operations for 2 hours daily: site setup, meals, transportation.
- Provide care for ADLs as required and record vitals and administer medications if trained.
- Support center administration: complete care documentation and maintain records.
