BAY AGING is hiring a Personal Care Aide in Gloucester, VA to provide essential in-home care services for clients. Responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities, health monitoring, and office administrative duties as needed.

Position Type: Part Time
Salary Range: $19.00 Hourly
Eligible for Sign On Bonus of $500 after 200 hours completed. Employee Referral Bonus $250*
Deliver in-home care services to Bay Aging clients so they can live safely in the community. Provide personal care, health and safety monitoring and light housekeeping. Introduce and coach new Personal Care Aides in the field. Perform administrative work in the office to complete a full-time schedule every week. Report to the Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor.
Perform a limited number of routine tasks prescribed by clients’ care plan. Work independently throughout the day. Report to supervisor any change in the client’s environment, physical or mental condition.
The work is performed in the client’s home and in public areas. It requires repeated standing, bending, stooping, pulling, pushing and lifting of weights up to 25lbs unassisted. Regular night, weekend and holiday work required on a regular basis. None of the essential functions of the position can be performed virtually away from the assigned places of work.
FLSA status: This is a non‑exempt position.
