Job summary

Bay Aging is seeking a part-time Medication Aide for our Gloucester Adult Day Center. You will lead daily activities, supervise participants, prepare meals, assist with transportation, and provide ADL care under supervision. If trained, administer medications and document care in accordance with DSS regulations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) license or certificate of training required.
• Medication Administration Certificate required.
• At least 1 year of elder care or caregiving experience preferred.
• Proof of current PPD vaccination required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and follow the daily activities (3 hours/day) with the Center Director.
• Supervise participants to ensure safety and engagement.
• Prepare and serve two meals daily; assist clients as needed.
• Assist with transportation of clients as required.
• Provide ADL support and care (1.5 hours/day).
• Administer medications if trained as medication technician.
• Document care promptly and maintain records per DSS regulations.
• Submit timesheets every 2 weeks.
• Give facility tours to family members/caregivers; relay questions to the Center Director.
