Job summary

Family Care Network seeks a Medical Technologist (ASCP) in Microbiology for its Laboratory Services in Bellingham, WA. This part-time, non-exempt role offers rotating day/evening shifts and weekend coverage with 8–24 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree – Medical Technology or related science.
• ASCP certification or equivalent licensed Medical Technologist.
• Microbiology experience required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates specimen integrity and performs requested testing and follow-up.
• Reviews monthly QC data and proficiency testing results.
• Maintains documentation and communicates critical results.
• Operates and troubleshoots instrumentation and resolves issues promptly.
• Ensures timely turnaround times and clean, organized work area.
