Responsibilities include scanning reports, managing medical records in EMR, distributing mail, handling patient requests, and preparing records for audits. Minimum requirements include a high school diploma and 1 year in a medical setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of medical practice office experience.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and HIPAA standards.
• Ability to multi-task with attention to detail.
• Organized and able to work independently and cross-cover at Front Desk.

Responsabilités

• Scan reports and manage medical records in the EMR system.
• Process medical records and billing encounter forms in the EMR.
• Open and distribute mail across the office.
• Handle medical record requests from patients and facilities.
• Complete forms for insurance companies in a timely manner.
• Prepare records for standard audits by insurers.
