The role emphasizes safety, reliability, and adherence to routes and procedures while supporting a collaborative healthcare logistics team.

Qualifications

• Must be 19+ with an active driver’s license for 3 years.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated dependability and reliability.
• Familiarity with using technology (hand-held scanners).
• Ability to follow procedures closely and maintain safety.

Responsibilities

• Drive a company-owned vehicle to transport lab specimens, medical records, pharmaceuticals and related materials.
• Operate a hand-held scanner to track items through the transport cycle.
• Observe company policies, procedures and service schedules.
• Present a professional image to clients and the public.
• Load and unload items with proper equipment.
• Demonstrate safe and courteous driving behavior.
• Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and keep the vehicle clean.
• Route duties may vary and require flexibility across routes.
