Job summary

MedSpeed is seeking a Logistics Service Representative/Medical Driver in Indianapolis to support patient care by transporting lab specimens, medical records, and supplies in a safe, compliant manner.

You will operate company vehicles on fixed schedules, complete pre/post-trip inspections, and maintain professional interactions with clients while ensuring accuracy with handheld scanners and route guidance.

Qualifications

• Must be 19+ with an active driver's license for 3 years.
• Demonstrated dependability and reliability.
• Familiarity working with and adapting to technology.
• Ability to pass initial and random drug and alcohol screen.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive and transport lab specimens, medical records, pharmaceuticals, x-rays, and related materials in a company vehicle.
• Operate a hand-held scanning device to track items accurately through the transportation cycle.
• Strictly observe operating policies, procedures and service schedules.
• Present a professional image to clients and the public through appearance and interaction.
• Load and unload company vehicles with appropriate equipment.
• Demonstrate safe and courteous driving behavior.
• Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain a clean, neat vehicle.
• Route duties may vary; perform duties across all routes you may be assigned.
• Demonstrate teamwork and adaptability with teammates and clients.
