Job summary

MedSpeed in Hammond, IN is seeking a Medical Delivery Driver- Hammond, IN (Part Time). You will spend most of your day driving a company vehicle, delivering lab specimens, medical supplies, and records to healthcare sites, while maintaining safety and professional image.

You will use a handheld scanner, follow schedules, load/unload cargo, and adapt to route changes. We offer weekend shifts with differential, training, benefits, and a steady part-time schedule; a valid driver’s license and clean

Qualifications

• Must be 19 years of age with an active driver’s license for 3 years.
• Must have a clean driving history and be able to pass drug & alcohol screen.
• Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow procedures closely and determine efficient routing.
• Comfortable driving in varying weather and traffic conditions.

Responsibilities

• Drive in a company-owned vehicle, transporting lab specimens and medical supplies.
• Operate a handheld scanner to track items through the transportation process.
• Load and unload company vehicles with appropriate equipment.
• Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain a clean, neat vehicle.
• Route assignments may vary and require adaptability with teammates and clients.
