Job summary

MedSpeed is hiring a Medical Driver in Hammond, IN for part-time night shift (Mon-Fri, 10:00pm–3:00am). The role offers a $1 differential to $18.05/hr for hours between 10pm and 5am.

You will drive a company vehicle, transport lab specimens and medical materials, and maintain safety and compliance while serving healthcare clients across our nationwide network. Training is provided, with opportunities for advancement, and benefits such as medical/dental/vision, 401(k), and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Must be 19+ years old with an active driver’s license for 3 years.
• Must pass initial and random drug and alcohol screen.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to follow procedures closely and determine efficient routing.

Responsibilities

• Operate a company-owned vehicle to transport lab specimens, medical records, pharmaceuticals, and related items.
• Use a hand-held scanner to track items through the transport cycle.
• Load and unload items as needed and present a professional image to clients.
• Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain a clean vehicle.
• Adhere to safety policies, schedules, and route assignments; work with teammates and clients.
