Job summary

Banner Health is seeking a Medical Assistant for the Arcadia location in Phoenix. The role supports clinicians, performs exams prep, vital signs, lab processing, and basic procedures, while ensuring patient comfort and safety.

You will coordinate patient care, handle scheduling, referrals, and documentation, and maintain a clean clinical environment. A certified MA with strong computer and communication skills is preferred; part-time schedule of weekdays with varied shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of an approved medical assistant training program.
• Active Medical Assistant Certification required (RMA/CMA/CCMA/NCMA).
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares patient for exam by recording vital signs and chief complaint.
• Assists clinicians with exams and minor procedures, including phlebotomy and EKGs.
• Coordinates patient care, referrals, and scheduling, and communicates test results.
