Trinity Health IHA Medical Group in Michigan is seeking a compassionate Medical Assistant to support providers in delivering high-quality patient care. You will work directly with patients, assist with clinical procedures, and help deliver a positive healthcare experience.

The role involves welcoming patients, taking histories and vitals, assisting with exams and testing, administering medications, and coordinating care with providers.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Successful completion of accredited/approved MA program and externship/internship; EMT/Paramedic program; or Certified Athletic Trainer.
• MA-eligible or credentialed MA preferred; CPR certification is required.

Responsabilidades

• Welcome and prepare patients for appointments.
• Collect and document patient histories, vital signs, and health information.
• Assist providers with exams, procedures, testing, and specimen collection.
• Administer medications and perform diagnostic testing as directed.
• Communicate test results and provider instructions to patients.
• Provide patient and family education to support better health outcomes.
• Coordinate care between patients and providers.
• Support quality improvement initiatives and disease management programs.
