Job summary

Vivo Infusion is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant for part-time work across multiple Dallas area clinics, including Aubrey, Flower Mound, and Denton locations. You will welcome patients, support clinical staff, and ensure safe, compassionate care in line with guidelines.

The role requires previous administrative experience, strong initiative, and the ability to work independently within a collaborative medical team.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent required.
• Medical Assistant Certification preferred.
• CPR/BLS required prior to start date.
• At least 1 year of clinical experience required.
• At least 1 year in administrative, patient-facing, or customer service role required.
• Phlebotomy and lab processing skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient care activities according to standards.
• Room patients and update charts.
• Communicate patient data to providers and nurses.
• Provide admin and front-end support including scheduling and payments.
• Ensure efficient turnover of exam rooms.
• Assist provider in the exam room as needed.
• Collect, prepare, and submit ordered lab specimens.
• Assist with prior authorizations documentation.
• Triage patient calls and document messages.
• Order and manage supplies.
• Disinfect and stock exam rooms.
• Obtain records for patient charts.
• Follow CDC infection control guidelines.
