Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of a Medical Assistant program or 2 years of MA experience required.
• AHA Healthcare Provider CPR card required.
• Exceptional verbal and written communications skills.
• Attention to detail, multitasking and flexibility required.
• Strong computer skills with experience using medical systems.
• Ability to operate general office machines.
• Knowledge of medical terminology required.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first clinical contact for SAMP patients and create a positive first impression.
• Support clinical tasks under physician supervision and report to office coordinator.
• Provide excellent customer/patient services in person and over the phone.
• Collaborate with service staff to support direct patient services.
