Job summary

Sante Health System in Fresno, CA is seeking a Medical Assistant for the Community Medical Providers practice, full-time, front and back office duties to support delivery of primary health care and patient care management.

Ideal candidate will be patient-focused, detail-oriented, and capable of taking vital signs, preparing exam rooms, administering injections, managing records, and coordinating referrals, while maintaining HIPAA confidentiality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• AAMA certification preferred or required per policy.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examination and take vital signs.
• Assist in examinations and minor procedures, injections, dressings.
• Maintain charts, records, and prepare treatment rooms.
• Schedule and coordinate referrals and follow-ups.
• Verify eligibility and collect copayments when applicable.
• Maintain patient confidentiality per HIPAA.
