Job summary

Trinityhealth is seeking a part-time Back Office Medical Assistant in Fresno, CA. The role is the first clinical point of contact for SAMP patients, reporting to the Practice Manager and working under physician supervision to perform clinical tasks and support patient care.

Responsibilities include delivering excellent patient service, collaborating with team members, and maintaining accuracy in documentation and medical terms. CPR certification is required, and prior MA experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of a Medical Assistant program or two years of MA experience required.
• Current AHA Healthcare Provider CPR card required.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills required.
• Attention to detail, ability to multi-task and flexibility required.
• Strong computer skills with experience and proficiency with medical systems required.
• Ability to operate general office machines (fax, copiers, etc.) required.
• Knowledge of Medical Terminology required.
• Strong multi-tasking, planning and organization skills; able to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first clinical contact for patients, creating a positive first impression.
• Support physicians and clinical staff under supervision.
• Provide excellent patient/customer service in person and by phone.
• Assist with routine clinical tasks and documentation.
• Collaborate with office staff to ensure smooth patient flow and operations.
