Metro Infusion Center in Bloomington, IL seeks a part-time Patient Care Assistant (Medical Assistant) to support back-office operations with some front-desk tasks. The role is 24 hours per week across three days, located at our clinic in Bloomington.

Responsibilities include vitals, rooming patients, stocking supplies, billing processing, scheduling, and coordinating with physicians. Candidates should have at least one year of clinical experience, be comfortable with back-office duties, and

• At least 1 year of clinical practice, preferably in an office setting.
• Comfortable with back office responsibilities.
• High school education or equivalent.
• Vaccination proof and boosters required for immunocompromised patients.

Responsabilidades

• Back office duties: charting vitals, prepping exam rooms, stocking supplies, handling billing to some extent.
• Front desk tasks: scheduling, processing mail, managing referrals and dictation.
• Registering patients and updating demographics.
• Collecting co-pays and processing patient payments.
• Open/close duties and coordinating with physicians.
