Job summary

Metro Infusion Center, affiliated with Metro Infectious Disease Consultants, is seeking a part-time Medical Assistant/Patient Care Assistant for the Bloomington clinic. Role includes back-office duties with some front-desk tasks and requires at least one year of clinical experience.

The schedule is 3 days per week (24 hours total), with a $30k–$33k yearly salary plus a monthly bonus. Applicants should provide proof of current vaccinations and high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Must have at least one year of clinical practice experience, preferably in an office setting.
• Must be comfortable with back office responsibilities.
• Proof of current vaccinations for immunocompromised patients, including required boosters.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients from reception to exam room and document vitals and chief complaint.
• Stock exam rooms with supplies and maintain inventory.
• Handle and process billing information and medical records tasks.
• Coordinate and process referrals, appointments, and lab orders as needed.
