Job summary

Metro Infusion Center (affiliated with Metro Infectious Disease Consultants) in Bloomington, IL seeks a part-time Patient Care Assistant (Medical Assistant) to support back-office and occasional front-desk duties. Schedule: 3 days per week, 24 hours total, with flexible days.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of clinical practice experience, preferably in an office setting.
• Comfortable with back-office responsibilities and front-desk tasks.
• Vaccination proof required for immunocompromised patient exposure.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients from reception to exam room and document vitals and chief complaint.
• Stock exam rooms, maintain supplies, and keep rooms clean between patients.
• Process scheduling, referrals, medical records, and billing tasks.
• Register patients, update demographics, collect co-pays, and handle dictation.
