Job summary

Allure HCS seeks a Medicaid Support Specialist to support our Corporate Medicaid team at a Knox County facility in Illinois. The role focuses on timely Medicaid processing for residents, data accuracy, and cross-functional collaboration within a skilled nursing environment.

The position is part-time (24 hours/week) with responsibilities including eligibility reviews, redeterminations, and documentation handling. Prior LTC experience and MS Office proficiency are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing facilities preferred.
• Strong computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Review daily facility census for Medicaid eligibility.
• Identify eligible admissions and notify the Medicaid Specialist.
• Print and organize resident documentation; verify Medicaid documents.
• Support monthly reporting and redeterminations as needed.
• Communicate professionally with staff, residents, and families.
