Job summary

Family Fare in Wyoming, Michigan is seeking a part-time Meat Clerk. The role involves preparing and producing meat products, packaging, labeling, and merchandising to support store operations.

You will stock backrooms, rotate stock, and coordinate with the Meat Manager on orders while adhering to safety and guest experience guidelines. Ideal candidates have at least a high school diploma (GED preferred) and one year of retail experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma (GED) preferred.
• One year of retail or related experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write, comprehend, and interpret documents.
• Basic mathematical skills.
• Detail oriented.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and produce meat products to production planner.
• Package and label meat products per program plan.
• Merchandise meat products per flight plan/merchandising expectations.
• Stock backroom with meat products; rotate and date cases/buckets.
• Notify Meat Manager if products and supplies need to be ordered.
• Work as a team with other departments and stores to drive growth.
• Follow all PPE, safety, and cleaning guidelines.
• Communicate tasks, recipes, weights, and measures to associates.
